Brexit explained?

"People are so nice here, nicer than in Poland, so I'm very surprised they voted to leave"

Well, perhaps you've explained Brexit or at least one reason. A Pole criticizes her own who've migrated to Britain in huge numbers since EU accession; perhaps Brits don't like hordes of immigrants who are less nice.

And then there's this: "I can earn £7 an hour, while in Poland I would earn £1.50 an hour."

It's perfectly natural for folks to be a bit miffed at losing jobs to immigrants, regardless of the reasons or where they come from. £7 an hour is still a low wage and average incomes have dropped since masses of economic migrants legally arrived and willingly worked for less than the locals. There are winners and losers in free market economics, and the losers will obviously complain at the very least; Brexit is that complaint.
