The insanity continues.
Revisionism and self-censorship in the "land of the free" and the supposedly cherished First Amendment.
Whitewashing the truth is bad enough but hysteria over innocuous popular culture and heritage is a black day for society.
Having said that, this is essentially social engineering and thought control by that self-righteous fascist ménage-a-trois of government, corporations and mainstream media.
On the bright side, if large corporate retailers exercise power and control over consumers and their needs, opportunities will open for smaller manufacturers and retailers who usually can't compete with the discount giants.
Furthermore if we're really lucky, good old fashioned homemade handicrafts will be revived to fill the voids left by fascist liberal censorship.
Sadly, such outrageous actions of censorship only serve to further polarize an issue that has been escalated by liberal race baiters who inject divisive identity politics into every incident, be it a major news item or some trivial insignificance.
